Communicating with Color
For our final I really wanted to play around with music and color. I thought I would have more fun with this project using the beat of the music to play with the changing of colors I worked in a large range of colors changing the hue, value, and chroma!

Harmony and Discord
For my 5th project I was working with similar subject matter to create two works. One had to represent harmony and one discord. I used bright split complementary colors to show the discord and I used neutrals with accent colors to show harmony. For the discord I used a lot of different patterns to clutter and make the work unsettling. For harmony I wanted to keep the work simple and relaxed.

Animation Project
So for this weeks project we took our transparency project and turned it into an animation. I felt like the shapes I used reminded me of music so I decided to play with that idea in how I worked the animation!

Transparency
This was my transparency project, I used applied transparency for the painting. I think it was the most successful method for the shapes I had! I found the actual transparency hard to get even coats on.

Simultaneous Contrast
The two different works deal with making one color look like two (the purple and yellow orange) and the two colors to look as one (the blue and red). I think that the colors were more successful for the one as two, because when printed it shifted the greens to make them darker. I think composition the two as one works better to make you feel like it is one color!

Here is my Vibrating edges digitally and how it turned out when printed! The colors shifted after printing, i think it was still successful when printed but it is very successful on the computer.
